DGC International Supports Memorial Day Flowers Foundation

McLean, VA – June 1, 2018 – DGC International sponsors the Memorial Day Flowers Foundation for the sixth year in a row. Volunteers from the DGCI Virginia office supported the initiative at the Arlington National Cemetery over the Memorial Day Weekend. Across the nation, the Memorial Day Flowers Foundation hands out more than 240,000 flowers across more than 19 sites across America.

DGCI’s office staff hands out flowers to those who come to pay their respects and honor the sacrifices of our soldiers. “We are humbled by those who paid the ultimate price for our freedom,” noted Ian Galloway, Vice President of Corporate Development.

Memorial Day Flowers honors those who have sacrificed their lives to defend freedom and liberty for our country. DGCI recognizes and sponsors the foundation, and provides volunteers each year who hand out fresh-cut flowers to those who come to pay their respects.
